Previously employed with the BC Assessment Authority for 12 years, 8 years as a Senior Supervisory Appraiser and 2 years as acting Deputy Assessor.

Enormous amount real estate experience in the preparation of assessment rolls and roll defense, specializing in Industrial and Commercial properties with BC Assessment.

As a former employee with BC Assessment he has a vast amount of experience with assessment appeals and has testified as an expert at the Property Assessment Appeal Board on numerous occasions.

Graduated from the University of British Columbia in Urban Land Economics.

​Accredited appraiser with the Appraisal Institute of Canada and holding the designation “AACI, P. App.” This designation is the highest level of accreditation in Canada for Real Estate Appraisers​.

Presented market information at various industry events for the Real Estate Institute of BC on topics such as Development Land. Spoken at various educational conferences and has routinely presented market overviews to city council officials.​​​

Extensive experience in the field of real property valuation and assessment. Also, his background in farming allows him to be very conversant in the application of farm class regulations with BC Assessment.

Testified as an expert witness in high profile Appeal Court cases such as:  Pitt Meadows Airport, “Pickton” Property and Cascade Aerospace.
